Updated Gallery

For a while there, the Gallery here was a slideshow of pictures of models that I had painted. Unfortunately, it took forever to load, and the slideshow wouldn’t let you view any of the pictures longer or go back, etc.

I’ve changed up the Gallery page to have static images so you can click and view ...

Unboxing: Conquest!

I was so excited to pick this up from my ninja-shopper today (via friendly local who also partook of the ninja shopper’s services) and I dug into it as soon as I got home.

Box Art

Back of the box.

I know you want to see all the parts layed out, so here’s an ...

SPRIGGAN!!

 It’s the SPRIGGAN!!

He’s the only warjack that jousts, and he’s incredibly versatile on the battlefield.

He haz shield.

After taking this, I definitely feel that the edge highlights on the grey are too strong.  I’ll probably try to tone them down a bit before sealing the model.  I’m very happy with how the blends turned ...

So he has big guns, little guns, he poops “lightning pods” and he has “electrified fists”.  No ...

How-to Tuesday: Play Infinity

This one’s a stretch, but I promise next week’s will be awesome.

From what I understand, Infinity, like Malifaux, is a small (squad level, 10 or less models), skirmish game.  It also has some fantastic looking models:

One of guys in my area is looking ...

COLOSSALS

I’ll just leave this here… They are on 120mm bases, they have two damage grids (as seen on the back of NQ40), and they have access to two new power attacks. The “S” on the damage grid is for Superstructure, … Continue reading →
